XDS Astana Development Team rider Gustav Wang claimed second place at the first stage of Tour of Rhodes.

The first stage had a distance of 148.5 kilometers and finished with a bunch sprint, where Gustav was second. After today’s stage Gustav becomes a new leader in the general classification.

“I’m super happy with my performance today. The teamwork was really good throughout the entire race. It won’t be easy to keep the yellow jersey but I will do my best and hopefully we will come home with the victory”, — said Gustav Wang.
