X-LAB AD9

The AD9 represents the pinnacle of X-LAB engineering. Designed in the wind tunnel and proven at the highest level of professional cycling, it is the official race machine of the XDS Astana WorldTour Team.

Every tube profile, surface transition, and structural element has been refined to minimize drag and maximize speed.

When the road opens up and the pace rises, the AD9 delivers what matters most: pure aerodynamic advantage, tested to the fullest by CFD and by wind tunnel.

This is the fastest road bike in the X-LAB lineup.

World-Class Aero Road Bike

Mount the race bike that has been proven time and time again by the XDS Astana, redefining what a WorldTour bike can do with a rare optimal combination of specs, geometry, and efficiency.

A Mastery of Carbon Fiber

Weighing just 6.8 kg with a Toray T1100 carbon frame, the AD9 leverages the best carbon build available from XDS’ decades of carbon mastery tested on championship-winning bikes.

Dominion over Wind Resistance

Using the latest engineering techniques of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the AD9 underwent strenuous wind tunnel testing in Silverstone that puts it firmly among the elites in aerodynamic race bikes.
