ST5+ has a weight limit of 330lbs (150kg), which includes the rider and any gear or cargo.

ST5+ comes standard with full-coverage alloy fenders and an MIK-HD rear rack.

ST5+ ships as a Class 2 e-bike, meaning it has both throttle and pedal assist to 20mph. The e-bike can be updated to Class 3 options via the X-LAB Bikes mobile app. It is the rider’s responsibility to comply with all local laws and regulations related to e-bikes.

Yes, the battery on ST5+ is designed to be safe and reliable. In addition to using Tier-1 battery cells from LG, the battery and complete e-bike system are tested and certified to UL 2271 and UL 2849.

The rims and tires on ST5+ are not tubeless compatible.

ST5+ has clearance for up to 2.4” tires.

ST5+ uses a custom-designed integrated cockpit. There are three different cockpits for ST5+, SP5+, and SL5+. These are all cross compatible with all X-LAB e-bikes and can be purchased separately if a different ride position is desired.

The motor and battery on ST5+ are developed and manufactured in-house by X-LAB. The battery cells are sourced from LG.

Yes. The throttle controller can be removed if you prefer a cleaner cockpit setup or want to ride without throttle functionality. Please contact your local X-LAB dealer for assistance with removal and configuration.

To minimize weight and complexity of the overall e-bike, the battery on ST5+ is designed to be removed only by an X-LAB mechanic.
