What kind of help do you need?

How do I register my bike within 90 days to activate the Lifetime Frame Warranty?

Complete the online registration form through the X-LAB warranty page (https://xds.co/pages/warranty) within 90 days of the purchase date shown on your original sales receipt.

Have the following information ready:

  • Bicycle model, size, and color
  • Frame serial number
  • Purchase date
  • Authorized retailer or distributor
  • Original sales receipt or invoice
  • Your contact information

Under the warranty effective for qualifying products purchased on or after January 1, 2026, timely registration provides lifetime coverage for the original owner on eligible XDS and X-LAB frames, rigid forks, and structurally defective Branta carbon-rim wheels. Without registration, coverage generally defaults to two years from the original retail purchase date.

Keep your registration confirmation and purchase documentation for future claims.

Does the Lifetime Frame Warranty transfer to a second-hand owner?

No. Lifetime coverage applies only to the original registered owner and does not transfer when the bicycle is sold.

A subsequent owner may receive a two-year limited warranty covering structural defects in the frame and XDS-branded fork. This period is measured from the original retail purchase date—not the second-hand purchase date.

Proof of the original purchase is required, and other components are not covered for subsequent owners. Before purchasing a used bicycle, ask the original owner for the sales invoice and confirm that the serial number is present and unaltered.

How do I open a warranty claim for missing hardware, motor failure, or a defective part?

If the bicycle was purchased through an authorized dealer, contact that dealer first. The dealer can inspect the bicycle, identify the affected component, collect the required evidence, and submit the claim.

If the bicycle was purchased directly from the official X-LAB website, use the claim form on the X-LAB warranty page (https://xds.co/pages/warranty).

Include the bicycle model, serial number, original invoice, a description of the problem, and clear photographs or videos showing the issue. X-LAB will review the submission and determine whether the appropriate resolution is repair, replacement, or another remedy. Labor, shipping, diagnostic, and service charges may apply.

Do not discard, modify, or attempt to repair the affected component while the claim is being reviewed unless instructed to do so.

How does the Crash Replacement program work?

Crash and impact damage are not manufacturing defects and are therefore not covered by the standard warranty. However, X-LAB may offer discretionary discounted replacement pricing for eligible carbon framesets, forks, and integrated cockpits damaged in an accident.

Submit the original purchase documentation, bicycle serial number, photographs of the entire bicycle, close-ups of all damaged areas, and a detailed description of the incident. X-LAB may also request an inspection through an authorized dealer.

Crash Replacement eligibility, product availability, replacement pricing, and the final remedy are determined individually. The program does not guarantee that the same model, size, color, or component will be available.

Do not ride a bicycle with suspected structural damage until it has been inspected by a qualified technician.

What documentation and photographs are required for warranty service?

A complete warranty submission should include:

  • The bicycle model, frame size, and color
  • A clear image of the serial number
  • The original sales invoice or receipt
  • A photograph showing the complete bicycle
  • Close-up photographs of the affected area
  • Photographs from multiple angles when the damage is structural
  • A written explanation of the problem and when it occurred
  • Relevant error messages, videos, or app screenshots for electronic issues
  • The name of the original authorized retailer or distributor

Use well-lit, high-resolution photographs and keep the damaged component available. Incomplete or unclear documentation can delay the review. X-LAB or the servicing dealer may request additional photographs, diagnostic information, or return of the affected part.

Where can I find my bicycle’s serial number?

The frame serial number is typically located underneath the bottom-bracket area at the lowest point of the frame. Depending on the model, it may appear on a QR-code label or as a number stamped into a metal or frame surface.

Turn the bicycle over carefully or ask another person to hold it securely while locating the number. Clean the area gently if dirt makes it difficult to read, and take a clear photograph for your records.

Do not remove, cover, or alter the serial-number label or marking. If it is damaged or unreadable, contact an authorized X-LAB dealer or X-LAB Support with your original purchase documentation and photographs of the bicycle.
